Come up with us to the mountains Staðarfjöll to collect our sheep that have been enjoying the summer. Get to know the farm life first hand.
Please note that good riding skills and good physical condition are required for this tour.
Every summer in June our sheep (approx. 1,500) are sent to the mountains Staðarfjöll, that is close to our farm. There they spend the summer raising their young lambs in peace and quiet. At the beginning of September, we go on horses to get them back home before the winter arrives.
This is an amazing adventure and you get to know the Icelandic nature and the Icelandic horse in its best moments. What is most important, you get to spend time with the farmers and get to be a part of the farm life. Be a farmer for a day or two.

6 days - 4 riding days, three short rides (3-4 hours) and the last one is extra long.

Transportation
Upon arrival at Keflavík airport, it is easy to use the Flybus service to a hotel or guesthouse of your own choice in Reykjavík for the first night. If needed, we can help with booking a room before and/or after the tour.
Cancellation and refunds
- You pay 10% of the price when you book a tour and the rest is paid upon your arrival.
- You are considered to have the activity or the service delivered as soon as it begins.
- If you are not satisfied with our activity or our service you should inform us immediately and we will try to meet your request, if reasonable.
- It is the responsibility of the buyer and the group that he pays for, that they have the knowledge and physical ability, where applicable, to use the activity or the service we provide.
