Awesome!

We kind of stumbled into this place while driving the ring road. We wanted to see some Icelandic horses up close, so we pulled in. The family that runs the farm were super nice and accommodating and worked us into their schedule for a ride without prebooking. Highly recommend.

Best tour ever!

Visited Skörðugil this weekend with the family and it was an outstanding trip. We went on a horse riding tour with Fjola and Elvar to Glaumbær. Such beautiful riding paths and the hosts were so lovely. We also stayed at their guesthouse which is one of a kind. Sitting in the hot tub watching the Northern Lights was a fantastic end to a fantastic trip!

Best of Iceland

Vacation of a lifetime! Enjoyed it so much our family visited two times in 6 months. (Will be back). Lovely family, accommodations, scenery, food, activity for all ages.

Excellent tour and guide

Now, this is what I call a nice thing to do. Excellent surroundings for riding and everything like a million dollars. Victoria was my guide, and Skrápur my horse. Both great. Thanks for a great afternoon.

A family adventure

We travelled as a group of 9 including 2 seniors, 2 teens and 1 child. We were introduced to the horses and the Elvar and His daughters who were all very capable and kind. We would highly recommend this operation for its care of the horses and the quality of the service.
